Colour me beautiful!

Yesterday we had a talk on what colours and shapes suit us. I found out that as I have dark hair and eyes I should wear strong dark colours and avoid pastels as they wash me out. We went to see an opera in Rathmines on Tuesday. The opera was Don Giovanni and it was very long. It was also in Italian. Some people fell asleep. Work experience was fun. I went to a bookshop but loads of other people went to primary schools.

I'm back!

Hi, I'm back after being out sick for eight days! In my absence the rest of t.y. went to Juno and the paycock, they all said it was good. I'm part of the wardrobe team for the musical and we had a meeting today at lunchtime. Next week we are going on work experience and I'm going to a bookshop.

Clustr map!

Hello readers! I can now see where you are all from now because of clustr map! Anyone who reads, please comment. Yesterday was world blog day and the theme was food, we were learning all about the millnium goals in religion. We found out some shocking figures including that one point two billion people do not have enough to eat. That is seventeen per cent of the world's population! Today at lunch time we had a mini-company meeting. I hope that we can get our product for dyslexia manufactured.

T.Y. this week!

Today we have pilates, dancing and 1920`s dancing. Life in t.y. is so stressful! (Joke). My class is only just beginning to get over our defeat at the fun walk. If anyone has any ideas about mini-company products to help people with dyslexia please comment below. :)

Mini-company madness!!

We are all going to a mini-company workshop in Newbridge tomorrow. It is the second one so far. My mini-company group and I are so excited about our product. We are also doing the young scientist competition and yesterday we sent off some emails to do with our project idea which is;
"What are the effects of light and technology on sleep?"
In religion we are watching a program called educating Essex which is good. It is about a school in England and looks at the problems faced by the school principal on a daily basis. The fun walk was really good, well done to class Banba who won. They were Bob the builder.

mini-company

Our mini-company is having a lot of trouble coming up with a product. At the moment we are trying to come up with a product that will help people with dysexia. Tomorow is the fun walk. Our colour is yellow. The geography project is getting more difficult as we try to decide what countries to go to. We are also doing projects in english and history.

mini-company

We are finding it difficult to come up with a mini-company idea. We are thinking of making umbrellas with peoples names on them but it will probably be difficult to find a manufacturer. Any suggestions of mini-company ideas would be appreciated.

Carlingford

Carlingford was really good! we did a lot of fun activities including abseiling and rock climbing. The day after we returned we got our j.c. results. School is back to normal now and next Thursday we are going to a mini-company workshop.

t.y. so far

This is my first t.y. blog post :)
Yesterday we had social development. It was good and we found out a lot about different personality types. We are all entering the young scientist in October which should be fun. At the moment we are all working on our projects in class and at home. Next week is going to be eventful, as the results of the junior cert are coming out and we are going to Carlingford adventure centre in Louth.
